Deciding what to wear to work always ends up being the most daunting task. I usually get bored of the same pair of pants paired with different blouses, but there I stand in my closet, every day, trying to decide what to wear to work.
We fill our closet with basics for work because we can make the most outfit combination from basics. That may be true, however, it leads to bordem with your wardrobe at a faster pace. Investing in a statement piece can be intimidating if you aren’t sure of multiple ways to style the piece.
That is why today, I decided for this What to Wear to Work series, I will feature one skirt, three ways. A statement skirt that spices up your work wardrobe, but provides three different options to keep the decision of what to wear to work more fun.
What to Wear to Work: Look One

When I think about what to wear to work, I always strive for comfort. An easy blouse, comfortable shoes, and a skirt are all easy to throw on and result in all day comfort. I love that this skirt is silk. It is elevated, but looks great with this soft knit tee.
Whenever I pick a white top, I love to add some accessories for work and I think these hoop earrings help bring the blue out in the skirt.
This look would be great for any day in the office, for a teacher in the classroom, or if you are running to a work meeting in a coffee shop.
What to Wear: Look Two

I love look number two because it shows how you can bring this skirt into Fall. The skirt may be bright colored, however, match it with a henley sweater, it can easily be transitioned into the next season.
The henley sweater also leads to another casual vibe, even though this is a silk skirt, which is why I pair it with these adorable white sneakers.
Staying on trend with the causal vibe, I think muted jewelry would be the best option so I picked this simple gold bar necklace.
What to Wear: Look Three

For the third look, I elevate the silk skirt with this beautiful white shell and long cardigan. If it is still warm, you can wear the white shell alone and then add the grey cardigan as you transition into Fall.
When a shell has a mock neck, I think a long pendent necklace looks beautiful. This long pendent necklace, paired with the long cardigan, will create long beautiful lines on you if you are worried about the skirt’s length.
