Gift Guide for Moms and Mother in Laws
A gift guide for moms and mother in laws was the second highest request gift guide, behind the one for men! Gifting for my Mom every year makes me so anxious. I always want to get her something that is just perfect! Plus, I have to be creative and think about items that she hasn’t already bought for herself.
This year’s gift guide for moms and mother-in-laws is a mix of my items, my Mom’s wish list, and my Mom’s favorite items that she already owns. I also tried to include a vast variety of price points for all of you. I never know one year from the next how much I am going to spend on my Mom. It ends up really just being what I think she will love the most.
Gift Guide for Moms and Mother in Laws: Items My Mom Owns & Loves
David Yurman Bracelet
This item may be one of the most expensive in my gift guide, but if you are looking to gift Mom or your Mother in Law something timeless, here it is. She will wear this bracelet all the time and it will never go out of style. In my mind, that is money well spent.
An Instant Pot is one of the most fun kitchen appliances to gift. We are usually against kitchen appliances as gifts, but this one brings fun and creativity for the whole family. We invested in one during quarantine and it has been a dream when it comes to getting dinner on the table quick.
J.Crew Wool Coat
I have this coat, my Mom has this coat, and my Sister has this coat. It is clearly a staple in a woman’s wardrobe no matter your age. It has a beautiful a-line cut and will keep your Mom or Mother in Law warm throughout all her winter occasions. There are a lot of color options!
Having nice luggage is one of those things that is underrated. My mom swears by her Delsey luggage and since it always goes on sale around the holidays, it is the best time to gift it to your Mom or Mother in Law. Once we can travel again, she will be so happy she has this.
Le Creuset Dutch Oven
Le Creuset are kitchen staples that withstand the test of time. We gifted my Mom her first dutch oven last year and she has loved it. They are pricier pieces, which makes them great gifts. Every mom or mother in law would appreciate getting one of these under the tree.
Every year we get my Mom ornaments for the tree. We gifted her these last year and she loves them.
Silk Pillow Cases
Silk pillow cases are great for helping women’s skin overnight. The silk won’t absorb your skincare products, allowing your skin to get the full benefits. Your Mom or Mother in Law will also wake up with less pillow wrinkle marks when she uses this set. My Mom swears by her set.
Here are my Mom’s favorite UGG slippers. She has worn them for a few years!
My Mom’s favorite anti-aging skincare is clean. It has no retinol, but instead bakuchiol and Swiss Alpine Rose. Bakuchiol has been used in ancient Chinese skincare remedies. Swiss Alpine Rose is known for its’ adaptability in the harsh conditions in the Swiss Alps. The flower can protect itself from dehydration. Sounds like ingredients we all need in our skincare!
Dyson Hair Dryer
My Mom invested in a Dyson a few years ago. It is an investment, but she has noticed her hair has stayed healthier longer and she can dry her hair much quicker with this hair dryer.
Gift Guide for Moms and Mother in Laws: Items on My Mom’s Wish List
Series 6 Apple Watch
An Apple Watch is a great gift for the busy mom or mother in law who wants to stay organized, track her health, and never miss a notification.
A classic cross body bag with a monogram is a closet staple that every mom or mother in law needs in her closet. You can’t go wrong with this pick.
On Cloud Running Shoes
These running shoes have been receiving rave reviews for comfort. I know comfort is something everyone is craving this year.
Barefoot Dreams Blanket
A cozy blanket that is high quality and will stay plush can be one of the most appreciated gifts because you never think to buy it for yourself. Gift one this year! I love the solid colors for my Mom.
Apple Airpods Pro
These new Airpods are sound canceling and have a cushion on the ear insert, which makes them super comfortable!
Gift Guide for Moms or Mother in Laws: Items I Would Love to Gift My Mom
I am obsessed with this bag for moms or mother in laws because it is an updated and trendy silhouette with the classic and timeless Gucci pattern our moms and mother in laws are used to!
Ember Coffee Mug
If your Mom or Mother in Law is always ditching her coffee and drinking it cold, this is THE gift for her. It can connect to her smart phone and regulate the temperature of her coffee to make sure it never gets cold.
Leather and Cashmere Gloves
Leather and cashmere gloves are a staple in every women’s wardrobe. She can wear them for dress or as driving gloves. I love these specific gloves because they are tech friendly!
Leather Cosmetic Cases
I own this bag set and I love it. It is perfect for traveling. I will use one more skincare and one for make up. You can also leave one in your carryout or on in your suitcase. Obviously great when we get back to traveling.
Monogrammed Jewelry Case
A jewelry case is one of those items that every women needs, but almost no one has. The monogram details of this box makes it a nice personal gift.
Barefoot Dreams Robe
This is the definition of cozy! I own it in the navy. It comes in 3 sizes and definitely runs big. It is nice and long so it adds a lot of warmth throughout the winter.
There are a lot of color options available.
Leather Apple Watch Band
Apple Watch bands are another one of those items that everyone appreciates, but we rarely invest in them for ourselves. I am so in love with the Tory Burch details on this band.
Cozy Slide on Slippers
Some women do not like a fully closed slipper like the one I recommended earlier so I wanted to be sure to include one slide on slipper that looks luxurious.
Comfortable pajamas are so important. I have been wearing them for 2 years and I will probably never own another pair of pajamas.
Gifts Under $50
Neutral Eye Shadow Palette
I don’t know about you, but eye shadow is one of those items my Mom never thinks to upgrade. This palette is clean and is not overwhelming. All of these colors can be worn during the day and then layered to head out to dinner.
Vases are items in our house that we get from florists and always wish we had sweet vases. This two toned initial vase is the definition of sweet.
Gua Sha Tool
This tool is used to help lymphatic drainage in our faces. After getting into a routine with this tool, you can tell that your face has been visibly lifted.
Use code: classicallyclad10 for 10% off!
Wine Cooler Coasters
These fun coasters will help keep your wine chilled without having to add ice or get condensation.
This candle is not clean, but I have yet to find a scent that can compare to it. I love it. The smell is light and fresh!
Ina Garten Cook Book
I don’t think I need to give Ina any street cred. Everyone needs all of her cookbooks. This is her most recent book!
Initial Coffee Mug
An initial mug is a thoughtful gift. I love the size of this mug.
My Mom has been using this facial steamer for a couple of weeks and has noticed a difference in her pores and complexion.
Buttery Soft Slipper Socks
We always throw these slipper socks in my Mom’s stocking. They are the softest slipper socks and are at great price.
Initial Wine Cooler Cup
I have a couple of Corksicle cups and they hold drinks to temperatures for a great amount of time. I love the monogrammed personal detail here.
Silk Face Mask
Well, would it really be a 2020 gift guide without a face mask? This silk face mask will have your Mom or Mother in Law feel like she is flawless!
