Small Business Saturday has always been a day that I hold near and dear to my heart because my family runs small businesses. While we are in the restaurant and construction world, so it is kind of hard to support us on Small Business Saturday, I am excited to highlight some of my favorite small businesses!
This has been a wild year, as we all know. Small businesses have been hit pretty hard because majority of them do depend on local foot traffic. Before you get into this post, think about your own local boutiques, pet shops, salons, or restaurants that you can call to shop with over the phone today. I am sure they would love your support.
Okay, let’s get into it!
Small Businesses – Home
Marilee, her niece Allison, and Allison’s best friend, Kelly, started Branch Basics after seeing life altering changes in their health once they removed all of the toxins in their life. The three of them are just way too cute and have such a passion for helping others clear their lives of toxins.
I bought a Premium Set from them about a year ago and I am fully in love with their cleaners. If you want to do an overhaul of your household cleaners and switch them to clean, this is definitely where I would recommend starting.
Enjoy 20% off of all their sets! I started with this Premium one so I could switch everything at once, but you can choose to go with a smaller one.
I can’t handle the home decor! Addison is the cutest, most hard working momma I have ever seen who opened Carolina Dandy a few years ago. From the home or all of your gifting needs, Addison is giving you all of the southern charm traditional items you could dream of.
Small Business Saturday Only: all orders of $75+ will be getting a free ginger jar salt and pepper shaker set!
White Street Market
This boutique is located in Frankfort, IL. They have so many great gift options, but their home accessories this Christmas are to die for! If you are local and looking to get some fun decor, definitely make a stop in their boutique.
Shawn’s Wooden Stuff
My family has used Shawn to get many custom wood pieces build for our home and for work. He is such a great guy. He is efficient and runs his business professionally. You can pretty much design or dream up anything and he can get it figured out for you!
Small Businesses – Beauty
Beautycounter with Me
While yes, Beautycounter is a big brand, it creates many small businesses for the 44,000 (and growing) consultants. Being a consultant for Beautycounter is my small business that is keeping me afloat this month while Illinois restaurants are shut down. It has become my main source of income outside of my affiliate links on my blog.
Want to support me on Small Business Saturday, shop Beautycounter, and get some extra goodies? Enter your email here for all the details.
You can also read this blog post to see my favorites and get gift ideas. If you have no idea why I am even doing this, you can read this blog post!
Primally Pure is a clean living brand based California. The founder, Bethany, started the brand based on real and whole ingredients that would actually perform. Primally Pure is my favorite clean deodorant so far. I have slowly been adding more items to my collection like bath salts, face masks, and their brand new candle!
When you shop Primally Pure, you can use the code classicallyclad25 to receive 25% off your purchase!
Small Businesses – Wellness
This company is actually owned by my neighbor. They have a variety of weighted blankets. I have a few of them and love them. They help ease anxiety and will have you feeling relaxed in no time. This is something we ALL need in 2020.
Caitlin is married to one of my mom’s cousins. This year she opened her own business that is helping people get healthy through balance instead of restriction. I know a couple of women who are on her program and love it! She also shares results of her clients and it is incredible to see their transformations.
Small Businesses – Etsy Shops & Art
Grace & Grandeur
I just came across this shop in Instagram and I am absolutely smitten for her hair bows. They look absolutely beautiful and would go perfectly with any holiday outfit you are planning this year!
Emily from SkylineLaser is AMAZING! We have ordered signs for our business from her before. Her packaging is professional and her projects were so easy to install once we received it. If you ever need a unique sign made, she is your girl!
This is another amazing sign maker on Etsy. They have made metal signs for us before we literally love them! They look so professional and we feel so good knowing that we supported someone’s small busines.
Evelyn Henson is an artist based in Charlotte, NC. She paints the preppiest and girliest pieces. She has a wide variety of adorable gifts that would work for your sister, Mom, or best friend. You can enjoy 15% off her website with “OHWHATFUN15”
Small Businesses – Clothing & Accessories
Lauren just opened Inspired Boutique a year ago! It has been so much fun to watch her grow. She has a wide variety of cute clothes and accessories. She has watched her parents fun their small businesses and is taking everything she has learned to try and run her own!
Vintage Charm is a local boutique in the Chicagoland area. They are a go to for clothes & gifts. Every time I walk into one of their shops I can count on spending way too much money because I can’t help it. I love so much!
The Tiny Tassel
Use the code “shopsmall” for 20% off their whole website.
Lace and Pearls Jewelry
My friend Asa owns this handmade jewelry company. I have seen her work SO hard this yer to take care of all her clients. Her pieces are trendy, but classic at the same time. I love how dainty everything is too.
I have shared even a few more than what I have here over on my Instagram.
If you chose to support any of these small businesses, thank you! Every order you placed caused the owner of that business to do a happy dance, or maybe even jump for joy after a year like this.
